Where the forest decides what you see.

The Wild

Enter jungle, grassland, wetland and river habitat on foot, by jeep and by canoe - with patience, attention and respect for the animal's space.

Wildlife in Nepal is not a performance. A genuine jungle journey is made from waiting, listening and learning to notice prints, alarm calls, movement in grass and changes in the forest’s rhythm.

Chitwan offers an accessible mosaic of forest, grassland and the Rapti River. Bardiya opens into a quieter, more remote far-western wilderness. Koshi Tappu shifts the focus toward wetlands, migratory birds and arna, while Rara brings wildlife observation into cool, high-altitude forest.

Ways into the landscape

  • Guided jungle walks and wildlife tracking
  • Jeep safaris through core forest and grassland habitat
  • Dugout canoe and gentle river journeys
  • Focused birdwatching and wetland observation
  • Watchtower or buffer-zone overnights where locally permitted
  • Photography shaped by fieldcraft rather than pursuit
  • Tharu village and community experiences alongside the natural landscape

WildWalk’s approach begins with the understanding that an empty trail is not a failed day. Sometimes the forest gives you only a sound, a print or a few seconds of movement. Those moments are part of the real wild.
