Nature guide and wildlife photographer
My journey into the wild
Born in Damauli, shaped by Nepal's many landscapes, and always drawn toward places the usual route leaves quiet.

Wakif Wagle
I was born in Damauli, Tanahun. Growing up among Nepal's varied landscapes left me curious about the places, people and stories that make this country what it is.
I have always been drawn to unexplored places. I enjoy travelling solo, stepping away from the usual path, meeting people and learning from each journey. I completed a bachelor's degree in business management, majoring in Entrepreneurship, but my deepest education kept happening outside - in forests, on roads, beside rivers and behind a camera.
Nature-guide training in Bardiya National Park deepened my understanding of wildlife, forest and conservation. I have also spent significant time in Chitwan, photographing wildlife and learning the patience that a living forest asks of you.

“Sometimes you wait for hours. Sometimes you see nothing. And sometimes, for a few seconds, the forest gives you something unforgettable.”

Sport taught me to read the moment
Photography also took me onto the cricket field with the Cricket Association of Nepal, where movement, emotion and anticipation demand a different kind of fieldcraft.

Why WildWalk
Beyond the crowded holiday loop
Before beginning my own journey, I worked with tour and travel agencies. Moving visitors quickly from one crowded spot to another often felt artificial and detached from the land itself.
WildWalk Nepal is my way of guiding differently: raw, personal and deeply local. It brings together photography, wildlife, travel, nature and people - one journey, one photograph and one story at a time.
